THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF WARRIOR CATS!!! This book takes place RIGHT in between the first series and the second one. Firestar begins to see cats that aren't from Starclan or any other clan! Eventually he finds out that there had been a fifth clan in the forest. Skyclan. A clan that had been driven out of the forest because the twolegs had started building houses on their territory. Firestar and Sandstorm set out to rebuild Skyclan, even through it seems completely impossible! I LOVE this book soooo much!!! I had read it over and over again. It's filled with adventure in every page! I also liked the new brand of fun, lovable characters that show up, instead of the usual circle of characters from the Clans that we have gotten so used to. I surprise myself by saying that I liked ALL the characters from SkyClan, Ancient and New.

I remember reading this back in elementary school and just ADORING it. (I was a pretty big "Warriors" geek, and firestar was my dude/cat). **And Funfact: this was the book that got me really into warriors. So ... :')**
So in short: I basically GREW UP loving/consistently re-reading this book.

you need to read all the other warriors books to understand this one, but for those of you who have read all the others, this is one of the best warriors of them all (besides Dark River and Sunset.) it happens between the first series and the new prophecy series, and it explains everything that happened between them, like how willowpelt died, and how longtail became blind. it tells about how starclan was lying all along to firestar, that there were really 5 clans in the forest, not 4, and the missing clan, SkyClan, had gotten chased out of the forest. in this exciting adventure, firestar has to find the remenants of the lost clan, if any are still alive, and rebuild it. its nice to see it in firestar's point of view again after the new propohecy... i missed him.

After finishing this book, I had an odd feeling of relief that it was over. Now, normally, I LOVE WARRIORS BOOKS. Believe me. But this one felt a little bit too long, and I thought if could have used some more work. Now, it was still a very good book. I actually enjoyed it alot, but it just didn't gel as well as the other Warriors books. I do know that Erin Hunter, the author of the books, is actually three women who write the books together. Maybe they just didn't have much enthusiasm for this book and had to get it in by a certain date. I would give it a 3.5 or 4, because they have a wonderful plot, but the beginning especially is very long and a bit boring, and I just thought it lacked some enthusiasm. -Lulu

This book was very bland and didnt grab my attention. It took me a very long time to read but I got through. I mean there could of been more details and I feel like a more big climax instead of them getting attacked by rats. On Firestar and Sandstorms way to "Rebuild Skyclan" I felt like there could of been way more action. When I picked up this book I was in the middle of reading midnight. Super Editions are very long so I felt like this book could of been kinda a novella but at the same time a super edition. But the end was very happy for me. When Sandstorm and Firestar names there kits Squrrielkit and Leafkit. Not so fond of the name Leafkit because of Spottedleaf and how Sandstorm is jealous about Firestars relationship with Spottedleaf. But it is also a good name because the leader of Skyclan (Yes they brought it back to life) is names Leafstar. I cant wait to read more super editions. Expecially Bluestars Prophcey!

Deze supereditie is een leuke toevoeging en kan het beste gelezen worden tussen het laatste boek van de eerste serie en het 1ste boek van de 2de serie. Fans van de Warrior Cats serie zullen genieten van dit boek!

Originally read July 2013 Wow, this was great! I was afraid that re-reading it, I wouldn't like it as much, but Firestar's Quest does not disappoint. It's great for both Warriors fans and newbies alike. The problem with a lot of Warrriors books is that the plot is nonexistent and all over the place. That is NOT the case with Firestar's Quest. There's lots of action to keep the reader entertained, and there's also some direction with these events. Events are connected, if that makes sense. Also, all my favorite characters are back! It was great to read about Firestar again. . Sometimes, characters feel out of character in different books, but that's not the case here! The Firestar we know and love is back! Overall, I thought this was a entertaining, exciting and just AWESOME novel. Firestar's Quest is a standalone Warriors novel. It can be read independently of the main series but there are some references to events that happen in the main series. If you want some context to those, read these (in order) at the same time or before reading Firestar's Quest:

Bonus book written from Firestar's POV as he sets out to find and rebuild the unknown 5th Clan who forcibly left the forest long ago. Then he goes home and makes kittens (in a suitably unmentioned way, of course!)

After the massive battle with BloodClan, Firestar and the Thunder Clan cats are finally at peace. At least they think they are...... "Firestar's Quest" is such a suspenseful book; it is like a shattered puzzle piece going to be put back together, piece by piece. This 510 paged story really made me look a little closer again. If you ever read this book, you will be sitting at the edge of your seat! After reading this, you will never look at your pet cat again as a lazy, fat, piece of fur.
Firestar soon receives mysterious dreams constantly by the same plot: a grey cat with a wailing and screaming clan escaping and running away. When he realizes StarClan has hidden a forbidden secret of a forgotten clan, Firestar is furious and turns his back from the ancestors that he used to trust. How was he so careful about seeing his four clans across invisible borders but so blind about his own cats upstairs? Now he is coerced to make one of the biggest choices in his life: bring the clan back from darkness and guide them to the gleaming light.
Should Firestar really give up being leader of ThunderClan for a while and be a mentor of the lost clan? Or should he remain leader and not betray his wealthy clan?
In the midst of a trouble, an old friend comes and alleviates the situation with an important dream. This is the last sign of the desperate, old, grey cat who appeared in his constant dreams. Now, the responsibility is in his own paws.
Although lots of the chapters were really stalling the hidden answers, and I was so keen to find them, I rate this five stars because of the image the author paints in your head. Erin Hunter is great at creating stories and I could have never have the knack of she has, of writing the most unforgettable stories. People who love reading the "Percy Jackson" series will one hundred percent adore this book because the plot is similar but somehow different at the same time.

I didn't realize until I read Firestar's Quest how much I'd missed him as a POV character and the old forest and its citizens, not that we get to spend much time in the old forest. Firestar is getting visions of a fifth Clan, SkyClan, that lived in the forest until the other four Clans drove them out, something no living Clan cat knows. That fifth Clan's dead leader asks for Firestar's help to reform that Clan, and since Firestar is Firestar he wants to help, even though it will take him away from his own Clan that he leads for a while. He also deals with a crisis of faith when he finds out that the StarClan he reveres as wise and good has been lying to him and all the other living cats about the Clans and has really stupid reasons for letting SkyClan be driven out. For someone who cares so deeply about the good of all cats and believes so deeply in justice as he does, this is ridiculous. So he and his mate leave to find the descendants of SkyClan and re-establish the Clan, which is far from easy. After so many books featuring the spoiled, selfish, whining members of the Three as its narrators, particularly Jayfeather, it's great to be back with Firestar. It's interesting seeing him searching for cats for SkyClan and trying to tailor his recruitment speeches to what unaffiliated cats would find appealing in the warrior's code and living in a Clan. It amuses me that one of the biggest challenges Firestar and Sandstorm face on their journey is the "KITTY!!!" ~grabby hands~ reaction of young humans. That's not to say that I loved everything about the book. Firestar can come off as ridiculously insecure at times, while Sandstorm can seem ridiculously insecure and nasty about some odd subjects to the point where I don't know how Firestar can deal with her. I couldn't entirely suspend my disbelief about the rat army and how all those rats are linked to one intelligence. The journey segments sometimes take forever. I really wanted at least one chapter dealing with ThunderClan's response to Firestar's long absence and the tale of what he did to form SkyClan.

So, as with all of the Warriors books, I loved this one! But for different reasons than the others. My favorite part about it is easily the fact that readers can, once more, join Firestar on a quest. Don't get me wrong, I love Squirrelflight and Hollyleaf and the other main characters from the other series, but Firestar's just a classic. :) Tied for my favorite thing, is Sandstorm! In the first series, I always felt that, though she and Firestar were mates and in love, there was never GREAT detail into their relationship and Sandstorm's character/personality in general. This book not only allows you to see who she really is, but just how in love she is with him, and just how far she's willing to go because of it (of course, there are other, sarcastic parts of her I like too). As to the main plot, it was great! But, and I almost hate saying this as a fan, but I wonder how relevant Skyclan is to the story, thus the point of this book. Now, in no way am I regretting this book being written or having read it! One just has to wonder (and hope :) ) if Erin Hunter is going to use the characters of Skyclan (new or the old) in a future series. Me? I sincerly hope so.

This book takes place after Scourge killed Tigerstar, but before Squirrelflight and Leafpool were born. Firestar's Quest tells of a fifth clan that used to dwell in the forest, until Twolegs and the other four clans drove it out. This clan was called SkyClan. After receiving messages from Spottedleaf, Firestar sets out with Sandstorm to attempt to find and hopefully rebuild SkyClan. Although they suceed, SkyClan stays in it's newfound home and does not return to the forest. I throughly enjoyed this book. The only thing that I didn't like was that in the last 1/3, twenty of the pages were upside down, and so I had to flip the book over for that part. But that's the publisher's fault, not the authors.

I really hope we get to go back and learn more about SkyClan one day! I much prefer this special edition to the normal series books, I suppose because it didn't feel rushed, and there were no crazy emotions and drama etc. I love how Firestar's and Sandstorm's relationship was strengthened, and I think I've found a new favourite character in Leafstar! Jumping back into the forest world soon.

This book was fantastic, but VERY slow at times. It definitely could’ve been shorter, 500 pages is a lot to drag on for a book about cats. It had a great plot and all just needed to pick up the pace. Otherwise I loved this book!

Nie była to książka idealna, było dużo niepotrzebnych przestojów w akcji, ale Wojownicy mają w sobie coś takiego, co wzbudza we mnie spokój. Zdecydowanie historie Ognistego należą do moich ulubionych - to moje comfort books ❤️3,5!

Even though I read the first two Warrior cats series back in middle school, I never touched this super edition, so it was fun and engaging to be right alongside Firestar as he was forced to reevaluate his conception of there always being four clans in the forest. I've heard my friends talk about SkyClan, but up until this week, I had no clue how they fit into the larger picture of the series, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the new clan slots into place with the other four. That being said, I love the creative aspect of rebuilding a clan from scratch. Leader ceremonies are always a favorite of mine, and I like the satisfying pay-off of seeing cats given their warrior names and official clan positions. However, I'm only rating this book two stars, because of the pacing and the final battle. In terms of pacing, I feel like there are many portions of this book (especially near the beginning) where the only purpose a scene serves is to take up space. I understand that it's important to show Firestar's journey to SkyClan, but that section seemed to drag on for me, and every time Sandstorm questions her relationship with Firestar, I begin to question it more seriously, too. I want to hear these characters talk through their problems more than I want to hear them wandering around unfamiliar towns, searching for one another because they couldn't NOT get lost every few chapters. As for the final battle, revisiting this series has taught me which plot-lines I find the most engaging. First and foremost would be clan drama, especially drama within a single clan (like the WindClan succession crisis in the fourth book of the second series). Down at the bottom would be conflict with other types of animals (badgers in the second series and rats in this super edition). I dislike these plot-lines, because they bring up more questions for me than they answer. If rats and badgers can learn to speak, then what are the ethics of fighting them? Why can't they live peacefully with cats and all get along? And if these two animals can talk, then who's to saw that the sparrows and voles the cats constantly kill aren't just as sentient as the cats? Personally, when I read the Warrior cats books, I can easily suspend my disbelief about cats behaving like humans and organizing into clans. Even the excessive amount of hunting they do is painful but easy to ignore. However, when these plot-lines are introduced, I find myself questioning the world so much that it nearly falls apart. All this being said, I enjoy the Warrior cats series immensely, and I have fun thinking about even the plot-lines I dislike. And while I'm glad I finally took the time to read this book, I have to say it is not one of my favorites in the series, especially compared to "Bluestar's Prophecy," the only super edition I had read before this one, which is one of the most classic Warrior cats books in my mind.

The four clans of the forest have enjoyed six moons of peace after the ferocious battle against BloodClan. Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, is sent dreams of fleeing cats lead by a pale-gray and white tom escaping a great threat. Firestar soon finds out that these cats were once members of SkyClan, a fifth clan that used to live in the forest not far from ThunderClan, that were driven out of the forest by the other clans leaving them homeless, trying to find a new home in a faraway gorge. With the help of his beloved mate Sandstorm and the former SkyClan leader, Firestar rebuilds the lost clan out of rouges, kittypets and loners while along the way reuniting Cloudstar (the old SkyClan leader) with his beloved mate Birdflight, who stayed in ThunderClan with her two kits when SkyClan left the forest, restoring the tom's faith in his warrior ancestors. This was the first Super Edition I ever read and I would definatly recommend it to all cat and fantasy lovers

Rating: 8 out of 10 I am pleased to say this book was way better than I expected. The first 25% percent wasn’t very promising, so I thought I would give it three stars. However, once Firestar and Sandstorm arrived at the gorge, the story just got better and better. I loved the new cast of characters; they had diverse and interesting personalities, and by the climax of the book I already cared deeply about all of them. The plot was simple but suited the book, which I felt was more focused on the characters. Still, the final battle was really exciting and I liked how they won using strategy as well as brute force. Other things I enjoyed were the sweet moments between characters (new and old) and how Firestar and Sandstorm’s relationship was managed. Everyone was in character and there were even some hints to the second series. I recommend this book to every Warriors fan or person interested in the premise. It doesn’t disappoint!

To me, Firestar's Quest was a great book and deserves 4 stars. Some positives include a good plot, an okay climax, and great characters. However, I thought the book was too long and had a slow beginning. The most slow and boring part of the book was the actual journey from Thunder Clan to Sky Clan. However, once they reached Sky Clan's camp, the book started getting much better and enjoyable to read. All in all, Firestar's Quest is a great book that starts out slow, but gets better as you continue to read on.

Finally got to this super edition even though I've already read almost all the way through The Power of Three. I LOVED this story, and I'm sad to have gotten attached to the cats they met but who probably will never make it into any of the other books. This was such a nice change from the actual "series" storyline books, it felt more personal since there weren't as many characters involved compared to the main books. I can't wait to read the other super editions after this awesome read to get me back into this series!

Oh I totally adored this book. It’s was such a great travelling/adventure story. I love Firestar and Sandstorm and I really enjoyed reading more about their relationship and how it developed.
However even though I really enjoyed Firestars mission, the new characters we got to meet and all the new information we got on the Skyclan. All this was marvelous, but I still wished that we got to spend more time with the Thunderclan and all the characters I got to love. I truly missed them half way through the story.
But still this was an amazing book and I loved it.

This book is getting really good. Firestar is now in the gorge with Sandstorm learning SkyClan's history from Sky and his faith in StarClan has already been shaken. As for what i've learned, this has filled in a huge gap in the story for me finally. Same with the Mangas. They filled in gaps for me so i'm not so lost from time to time!

Another warrior book I loved as a kid that just did not hit the same as an adult. The plot was really fun and I loved seeing skyclan grow but man did they do all the she cats dirty. Like why are they all annoying helpless mothers except like one. Why did you have to go and make my girl Sandstorm into such an insecure whiny person like stop please
