I purchased three spray tans with the promotion posted on their app. I checked out in store and the girl told me it was all set and they would be under my account I just had to use all three in 2 weeks. A week later I came back and the girl working said someone must have put it in wrong and I had no spray tans left. Even recognizing the issue was made on their end I was told I would have to pay $25 if I wanted a spray today. It was very disappointing and I am very upset that I not only paid for three and only received one, but drove all this way and had to go home without a tan.

Critical:ValueGo in expecting to pay for a 1 month membership for $34.99 and was told to do the “1 month membership”it would cost me $100. The 1 month membership isn’t actually 1 month you need to pay for 1 full month and a partial month. If you go in on the first of the month you’re required to pay for the following month also. In addition to that there’s a $10 activation fee, $2 tan tax, and a $20 yearly membership fee that also comes out when you sign up for the “1 month membership”. Ended up calling customer service and they were not friendly or helpful. They have their hours clearly posted on the door and website but they are not open when they say they are. This has been an ongoing issue and has happened to me several times. No point in paying for services you can’t use. So frustrating.Tanning

I started a membership here yesterday 6/20, the lady that dealt with me was very friendly, she had told me I needed to giver her my finger print so no one could come in as me I nicely declined giving my finger print, check my ID if you must to make sure I am me, she said okay no problem, went about my tan and what not. Moving on to today 6/21 the bigger girl who is very tall checked me in , (she was there next to the chick yesterday taking my info) said I need your finger print, I said to her I declined yesterday and she said very rudely I know, but you can’t tan without it, I told her the girl yesterday never told me this, very rudely again she said I’m aware, I told her again check my ID if you must, she declined because she was there yesterday when my memebership was started! I then told her I wanted 12 minutes instead of 10, I get to the room get myself set up and I was only given 10 minutes so I got dressed, and went out to tell her, you would have thought I was asking for the world on a silver platter, she slammed down what she was doing, and very obviously acted like it was the hardest thing in the world for her to do. I wasn’t asking for much but the time I had told her I wanted. Her customer service skills are ZERO, day 2 and I’m already not liking what I have seen…. there is nothing wrong with me giving my PICTURE iD to someone to make sure I’m not letting anyone else tan. Not even the government needs my finger print, this is a tanning salon, not the police station. And also, if I can’t tan without giving my finger print, I was 1. not informed that before signing up, and 2 still able to tan the last 2 days.. so clearly a finger print is not needed.

I love Sun Tan City. They offer the best tanning beds. They have several different levels of tanning bed. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. You are missing out if you haven’t tanned at a Sun Tan City location. Thank you Sun Tan City for always making me ‘shine’ I highly recommend Sun Tan City for tanning!
